MS Office Forum / Outlook / Calendaring / August 2006Archiving doesn't work
I have tried to archive calendar items from 2004, but nothing is deleted and nothing shows up in the archive folder. I did a workaround by using category view and selecting the 2004 appointments that were not recurring. I then moved them to the archive folder. Autoarchive works on the date the item was last modified, not the date the item was placed in the calendar. To see the modified dat, change the calendar to a table view and add the Modified Date field with Field Chooser. That will probably explain why you're seeing what you are.  SignatureBrian Tillman |
