Office 2003 - Outlook calendar - new & existing appointment proble

Although working fine up until yesterday, today I am unable to open existing
appointments in my calendar, nor am I able to create new appointments.  
I regularly sync with a blackberry and am hesitant to sync with is while
calendar isn't working properly.
Does anyone know what I should do to fix outlook?

What happens when you try to open or create appointments now? Also, did
anything happen yesterday (crash, software install, etc)?

One of my users just called me about this same issue.  He can even create a
new appt for another user (when clicking on the calendar).  I had him try to
create a new appt by clicking on the NEW appt icon - but nothing happens.  I
had him attempt to create a new appt by using FILE/NEW APPT and nothing
happens.  No pop up window.

He was fine yesterday - has rebooted his laptop and restarted Outlook a few
times to no avail.  Plus, nothing out of the ordinary happened from what I
can tell - no crashes, no additional software adds/deletes, etc.

I'm stumped.

Did anyone post a solution for this issue?  One of my users is having the
same problem.  She can make new appointments for other shared calendars on
her computer but not her calendar.  I can open her calendar on my computer
and make new appointments, so it is definately a setting on her computer, or
she hit some combination of quick keys.  I have found many other threads with
this issue, but no solutions that work.  The size limit is fine, I even used
the 'cleanreminders' switch and it still does not work.

PLEASE post an answer if you can help.  Thank you!
