I keep getting prompted for my Office Online password

I am using "Publish to Office Online" in Outlook 2007.  I registered on the
site (with my passport/live id) and I am able to publish and share my
calendar there.  The problem is, now every time Outlook 2007 attempts to
update the online calendar (Outlook send/receive) I get prompted for my
Outlook Online password:

"Please enter your username and password for publishing calendars."

I enter the id and password for my passport/live id (the same id/password I
used to publish the calendar in the first place), but I am just re-prompted
two more times and then it gives up (after 3 consecutive failures).

What's up?  I have even stopped sharing, deleted from Office Online, and
then re-published (successfully), but when it comes time to update -- it
fails again.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
