I have an odd problem that occured in Outlook 2002 (Terminal Server). A
Friend's birthday is today, but I have two separate reminder for it when I
look at the calendar. Moreover, they are not exactly identical: one
included the first, middle initial and last name, but the second icluded
onlyl the MI and last name. Then I deleted the birthday for that Contact,
but both reminders remeined even after ai quit OL and restarted it a couple
times. Then I opened the Contact and entered her birthday. Now I have
THREE reminders of the same thing that show up in today's calendar. What
can I do?
Hi Joe,
at first I would start Outlook with the command line "/CleanReminders",
maybe this could help.
How to use command lines of Outlook:

Thanks. I tried this twice but there seems to be no effect. I eventually
went to the dates in the calendar for each duplicate birthday and deleted
the series of reminders. Then I opened each contact and deleted the
birthday. I restarted OL and found no evidence of the deleted birthdays.
So far so good. Then I reentered the birthdays in question. So far so
good. Thanks again!
