Restoring Calendar Entries from Previous Day

Good Morning All,

I have a quick and easy question.  First, the setup:

Client:  Outlook 2003
Server:  Exchange 2003

I have a user who deleted and duplicated many calendar entries in their
calendar.  They would like entries restored from the previous day's
backups (backups are done in MSBACKUP)

I assume that I should.

1.  Restored the mailbox store her account resides on for the previous
day
2.  Mount the DB in the Recovery Storage Group
3.  Use Exmerge to extract the mailbox contents to PST
4.  Import PST back into mailbox for user

This sound like the best way to handle this issue?  Mail items are
stored on the Exchange server.

Thanks,

Hugh

Don't you have the Recover Deleted Items feature enabled in Exchange?  Have
her open her Deleted Items folder and then click Tools>Recover Deleted
Items.

Thanks for the suggestion Brian.

I could restore the deleted items this way but it wouldn't remove the
duplicated items.  She had hundreds of items in her Calendar spread
across many months and she doesn't want to spend the time sorting
through them all, hence she just wants her Calendar restored from a
point in time where the deletions and duplicates do not take place.

Thanks,

Hugh

I would think displaying the calendar in a table view would make the
duplicates obvious.
