Outlook 2000 allowed the user to change the sound played when an apointment
reminder cam up. Otlook 2000 only allowed us to choose from "sound files,"
it seems that Outlook 2007 will not allow any such modification. I would
have thought there would have been an improvement instead, one that alloweed
any media file to be played automatically with the reminder, such as an
wma/mp3 or video file. Is the option for customizing this just less obvious
and buried, or is this really not an option yet?

As far as I know reminders are still limited to just sounds (WAV) but I
think there may be a third party tool out there that allows a wider variety
of media for reminders.
