As a project manager, I plan and attend quite a few meetings. One of the
keys to hosting an effective meeting is to set an agenda. I feel that this
can be facilitated by MS Outlook as it is one of the standards in the
scheduling of meetings. I suggest the following:
1 - Add an agenda tab to the meeting request option
2 - The added tab should have two views; free form text or formatted
3 - The formatted option should have fields that correspond to a standard
agenda
4 - Another option would be to link this to a .dot file which could be
customized by the user
To summarize, an agenda tab would help in the management of meetings and
promote constructive meetings.
Why not just insert the agenda you created in Word into the meeting request?
It is what I do all the time - no need to bog Outlook down with another
option already covered in Word.
