why are holidays not visible in my calendar after they have been a

When I go into the calendar options it shows UK holidays as already being
installed, although they do not show up on the calendar. When I add the US
holidays, they do not show up either. I am using Outlook 2002. Is there
another setting that I need to activate to be able to see the holidays in the
calendar?
