How can I show total duration for recurring meetings in Outlook?

I have set the calendar view to show meetings grouped by catagory, by period,
so that we can measure time spent on each type of activity, however, for any
reoccuring tasks, say daily and lasts one hour each, the duration shown for
the month only shows '1 hour' and does not total all of the reoccurances of
this event.  Is there a way round this?

No. Outlook simply doesn't do totals like that.
