When I look at the top bar in the calendar view it says "Calendar September
18 - September 22 (Septembre 18 - Septembre 22)".  When I look in the week
view, I also see in the header for each day "Lundi, Septembre 18
Monday, September 18".  How can I get rid of these dual spanish/english
language headers and make it just use only English?  The spanish is
distracting.  As far as I know nothing on my machine is set up to use
spanish.  I am using Outlook 2002 sp3.

Check your regional settings in control panel.

After furious head scratching, pvollrath asked:

I have, which is why i can't figure this out.  Everything is straight
English/American that I can find on that control panel.

Click Tools>Options>Calendar Options and see if "Enable Alternate Calendar"
is checked.  If so, uncheck it.  I suspect it's checked and also says
"French" in the language drop-down.

oh, is that french?  oops :)   needless to say, I don't know either french or
spanish.

In any case, that's not it.  That option is not only not checked but is
grayed out anyway.
