When I attempt to make a new calendar entry I receive the following message
upon clicking the ENTER key:

"Could not save item.  The form required to view this message cannot be
displayed.  Contact your administrator"    In addition, when I attempt to
OPEN an existing calendar item I receive a similar message but it gives me
the opportunity to click again and the calendar data appears in the proper
format.

I recently added a new e-mail account in Outlook and I toggle between it and
my personal depending on where my message if directed.  Could this be having
an effect on my problem?

no, it's not associated with 2 accounts. did you make a new form at some
point? Outlook is trying to some other form than the one it supplies by
default.
