I can't get the Taskpad View to work in a Public calendar!

It shows up on my personal calendar, but I can't get it to show up in the
public calendar.  I've been set up as an owner for the public folder, but
still nothing happens.  Sometimes the Taskpad View options are selectable
from the view dropdown, but nothing happens when I click them.  Sometimes the
options are greyed out and I can't even select them.
