How can i change the colour of the date ticker in outlook

When i view my calendar in the Month format as I prefer the shading for
todays date is not very noticeable, now I know I should know todays date but
I would like to be able to see this more readily , any tips ?

I believe that's controlled by your Windows theme settings.
