I'm using Outlook 2003, and when i'm in the 31 day caldendar mode i see black
clocks at each end of a reminder.  In fact each reminder is streched into
more than one day with a black clock at each end of it.  How can i get rid of
the clocks?

Right-click in a blank area of the calendar and choose Other Settings.
Uncheck the boxes labeled "Show time as clocks".
