I've moved over to a new machine. I've added my old .pst to my new profile, but I can't get my old calendar to be the default. So I can see my old appointments, but none of the reminders will fire because the old items aren't in the new profile's default calendar. Anyone know how to make the old calendar the current default? I think you should move the contents of the old Calendar into the default Calendar (rather than change the default calendar). Select all in the old Calendar and drag to the default calendar. Judy, I am using in a similar situation as this person and have done as you suggested by copying the entries from my calendar in my .pst folder to my calendar in the new profile but one thing that I noticed is that the reoccurrence settings do not copy over. I have to go back to each entry in the new profile calendar that should have a reoccurrence and set it. Is there a way that I can copy and paste the entries from my .pst to the new profile including reoccurrence settings? Both calendars are Outlook 2003. Assuming Outlook 2002 or 2003, click Tools>E-mail Accounts>Next and change the "Deliver new e-mail to the following location" drop-down. Stop and restart Outlook. While my suggestion answers your exact question, Judy's suggestion may be a better approach if you're Outlook version changed from 2002 or earlier on the old PC to 2003 or later on the new PC because the newer format PST will be in use on the new PC.
