I would like to synchronize the office public calendar and contact folder
with my private calendar and contact folder in order to be able to then
wirelessly synchronize my private folders with my Q phone.

Hi gkcatty,

to synchronize a Public Folder with a Personal Folder  of Exchange, have a
look on this site for some tools:
http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/sync.htm#exssync

To synchronize a "cellphone" or another mobile device, I prefer software
solutions who synchronize directly the mobile device with the Exchange
Public Folders.

Another website with some 3rd party tools who supports mobile devices with
Public Folders of Exchange:
http://www.slipstick.com/addins/olpda.htm

Maybe it helps.
