I have a message sitting in my Outbox since October. It was a test message I
tried to send to another email address of mine, but it just doesn't get sent.
When I try to open it, I get this message: "Can't open this item. Outlook has
already begun transmitting this message." What should I do?

File->Work Offline.  Completely close and then reopen Outlook.  Delete the message.  File->uncheck Work Offline.  Close and reopen Outlook.
