If you intend to purchase Office 2007 next month, my personal recommendation is that you dump the beta, download a 60 day trial version of Professional (or whatever version you intend to purchase) and install that. The beta is over, the buggy code has been removed (let's hope mostly) from the RTM version so it is a win-win situation. It may even clear up your problems.
