I am trying to import an EXCEL file into my Outlook 2003 calendar.  However,
when I get to "Map Custom Fields," Outlook is not offering me the fields I
need.  In the left side "From: Microsoft Excel," I have fields including
First Name and Last Name.  However, on the right side "To: Microsoft Outlook
Calendar", no name fields are offered for me to which I can map the EXCEL
fields.

The Outlook fields offered in order are Subject, Start Date, Start Time, End
Date and then more for a total of 22 fields.  However, besides First Name and
Last name, I want birthday and anniversary, but those fields are not
displayed either. Why is Outlook not offer the common fields of First Name
and Last Name to which I can map my EXCEL data?  I will appreciate advice.

First Name, Last Name, Birthday and Anniversary are all fields related to Outlook contacts, not calendars.
