I would like to have a rule applied for specific calendar entries eg: I enter
the letters CMA and an automated rule enters in the next days calendar to
send a thank you card
Can this be done?
Thank you

that's not a function of a rule - it's a macro. see outlookcode.com for help
writing macros.
