Hiding Notes in an appointment

Can anyone tell me how to hide notes in an appointment on MS Outlook Calendar
2003 that also has an item attached or embedded in the notes.

Notes only: It doesn't show in the view.

Attachment: It doesn't show in the view.

Both attachment/notes: Notes show in view. (Don't want this)

I actually want my notes to show on the appointment when it is on the
calendar. But have been unable to find out what I need to press to make that
happen. Can you tell me where you are able to toggle that option?
