I can't seem to make my multi-day appointments show up on the printed
calendar.  It will show the colored block of time for a few days, but not the
whole event and the label for the appt is no where to be found.  It's also
cutting off the appt names, where office xp used to wrap the text, now it's
just chopped off.  i downloaded the calendar printing asst but it seems to
have nothing to do with my problem and there aren't clear instructions on
what to do with it.

Which calendar printing assistant did you download?  I use My Outlook
Calendar and it works very well...and it comes with documentation.

i downloaded the "calendar printing assistant for microsoft outlook 2007"
from the office 2007 website.  however it is an absolute bear to navigate, so
i haven't used it successfully yet.  why is it not just integrated into
outlook i don't know.

I'm using the calendar in outlook but it appears to have a bug of some sort
with this multi-day appt problem.  the appt shows up in the normal view but
in print preview it is missing or incorrect and it prints the same way with
days/labels missing.  i have seen several others on this forum with the same
problem but i have yet to see any helpful answers.

For those who don't print calendars, the addition of a built-in calendar
printing wizard might be considered "bloat".  That's just one reason I can
think of.  As far as the issue of missing appointments, names truncated,
etc., I don't think this is new to Outlook 2007...seems 2003 had the same
issues.  Calendar printing in Outlook has never been very good, which is why
there are third-party addins available (such as the one I mentioned earlier,
My Outlook Calendar).

I just installed the Calendar Printing Assistant so I could see how it
works, and perhaps use it myself.  Can you tell me what you've already tried,
step-by-step, and what happens when you try these steps?

Another note -- I have a few multi-day items in my calendar but print preview
looks good; in other words, I have not fully reproduced your problem yet.
How many days long is the longest multi-day appointment?  Unfortunately, I
don't think the appointment label will wrap to the next line...

Also pls ake sure to check with the detail level . To the top of the calendar
whether it is checked to low-Medium or high. You should ideally be using high
to see all the appointments and that matters while printing too.

i actually got to speak with a customer service rep at MS today, they told me
that it couldn't be their problem and must be something Dell had done and
that I should call them.  (whatever) so I call Dell and they said "what?
that's obviously a bug" so I asked if they would report it to MS and Dell
said after they get a certain number of calls they will.  I also have a prob
now with outlook asking me for my hotmail password over and over again, as
well as the calendar wrapping the weekend problem.
