I wish to import my Outlook 2002 (XP) calendar so it can be integrated into
the new Windows Calendar which is part of Windows Vista. When I imported my
Outlook e-mails and other folders to Windows Mail it created a Calendar
folder (of sorts!) but the calendar entries merely appear in an e-mail type
format. I tried exporting as a CSV file (as required for Contacts
information) but I get a message saying that ongoing appointments could only
be exported for certain dates and in any case I do not know whether a CSV
file can be used by the new Windows Calendar. Exporting as a .pst file does
not work either. Can anybody help?

install outlook 2007 trial and email the calendar to create an ics, then
save it (if you do this on a different computer, send it to your self so it
can be downloaded on vista) - the vista calendar will open it easily.
