How do I undelete or restore a meeting in Outlook calendar?

I deleted an occurrence of a recurring meeting I have scheduled in Outlook.
I want to get it back, as it contained a lot of notes - and was the wrong
occurrence to delete! How can I restore that meeting/event?

Is it still in the Deleted Items folder?

No. Interestingly enough, I had previously run a "test" recurring event to
see what the effect would be of deleting one occurrence of that event. After
deleting one "test" event I DID find that one in my Deleted Items, but not
the actual Meeting event that I wanted to retrieve!
