I'm using outlook 2007. I am looking for an option to disable "Suggested
Times" feature while using the scheduling assistant.  I try to schedule large
meetings that involve 10-15 people and the  "Suggested Times" load takes a
very long time to complete for me to send out the meeting request.

How is your free/busy being populated?  Are you including off-site/domain users as well?  These factors contribute to the display time lag.
