Outlook and TASKS

Hello,

I am trying to find out if Outllok can do the following:

I track roughly 250 projects.  I would like to setup one task for each
project.  I will be able to keep a diary of the project and use the reminder
function at times.  I would continue to forward date the task, so in the
end, I will have a diary of all the entries as well as the reminders that I
have for this project.  I am not sure of how many characters are allowed in
the free form writing section of the tasks.

Do you know if this can be done especially if I want three individuals to
have access to the tasks using separate computers.  Our IT does have an
exchange server sunning primarily Outlook 2003.

A person in our IT department said that they tried it with a couple other
people but they were only able to see the comments they put it into the
system and not the other individual's comments.

I would appreciate any assistance.

Thanks

Sounds like you need a project tracker more than Outlook's tasks for that level of control.  Google for some free project trackers that seem to work pretty well - I have tried a few but uninstalled them since I don't use tasks to that degree.
