We have just migrated to Office 2007, I used to share my boss's calendar i.e
I could make and cancel appointments from my pc on his calendar.  We do not
have an Exchange Server, so I have published his calendar, I can view it now
but cannot edit it.  If I try to make changes on it, I am told that it is
read-only.  Any ideas?  Thanks!

That's the way it's supposed to work. Unless you have Exchange or a third-party tool that allows read/write access to shared calendars (see http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/share.htm), read-only access is what Outlook 2007 supports for another user's calendar.
