Ok, after posting this, I was allowed to read the comments others before me
have made regarding the change of week view.
I no longer program, but the "overlay" conflict is so much
disinformation.
A view can be written. Then when you try to 'overlay' it, you get a
error telling you to switch to the view that will accomodate the overlay
template.
Those of you out there that have some sort of connection and maybe some
influence with Microsoft should pass on our complaints.
Maybe some programmer out there has already come up with an html solution
for this by substituting a different template for the OutlookToday file. It
would be a nice gesture to publish it, and maybe even make some donation
money.
Many of us cannot "go back" to what we had before. It may not be "our"
choice. Our customers/clients may have dragged us kicking and screaming into
an upgrade we did not want because they upgraded and are now sending us stuff
we cannot open without the latest and greatest.
