Automatic setting of appointment recurrence in Vista calendar is a problem.
Any advice?

Ask in a Vista newsgroup.  microsoft.public.windows.vista.general or
m.p.w.vista.mail might be appropriate.  This newsgroup deals with Outlook
calendaring only.

running on vista getting a recurrence glitch that kept creating a recurrence
when you create an appointment?  I am having that problem, but I thought this
is where we would post
