Pre Outlook 2007, I had the TaskPad set up in the calendar view, and I could
select "active on selected days" for the TaskPad view. This would only show
me tasks that were active for that day (even if they had a start date of two
days ago and a due date of two days later than the selected date). The To-Do
bar doesn't seem to be as flexible, and I have a bunch of tasks showing that
I don't want there, I just want the tasks that are active for the selected
day. Anyone found how to do this in '07? (I've tried many different 'query'
setups using the Customize Current View...Advanced dialogs)

Thanks in advance,
Marc

Hi Marc

Yes - just got as close as we can with 2007.  It's not quite Active Tasks -
but it will have to do for the moment:

Right click the To do Bar heading column.
Arrange by | Custom | Filter | Advanced
Now set a filter to show Start Date on or before today

It's not the same as Active Tasks for selected days. I am lobbying hard to
get that setting back into SP1 for 2007.

What it does is shows Tasks (in real time) from their Start Date forward.
You will not see a Task with a Start date of tomorrow just by clicking
tomorrow on the Date Navigator ( like it used to do in Active Tasks) but in
real time, that Task will show tomorrow.

I hope this helps you at least a little bit!
