This has happened on more than one occasion and I am 100% certain that I did
not delete it. I entered in a recurring event many months ago and every now
and again, I need to change something about one of the dates, which usually
isn't a problem, once in a while they disappear. I am so certain I don't
delete them. The problem is, is that this shouldn't happen and then the
second problem is, is that the changes I made to each date is lost, right? I
am so fed up!!!

If you open the series and rewrite it, all of your exceptions will be
removed.  Did you do that?

Hi Bill, I know exactly what you are talking about. The reason I know I
didn't do that is because I was asked if I want to open just that one or the
series. Also because it was upcoming, if deleting it, it would have asked me
if I wanted to send other meeting attendees of the cancellation but it didn't
do that either. Thanks for thinking of options. I really think it's a glitch.
I just wish I knew how to recover it because I've permanently lost these
items when I've tried to recover them. They actually disappear from the
deleted box too. It is the weirdest thing.
