We have been seeing several appointments in our conference room
booking calendars in public folders where the appointment shows up in
Outlook 2003, but not when you login to outlook web access. It's
exchange 2003 enterprise, most machines are Windows XP with Outlook
2003 (some Macintosh Entourage systems but they access the public
folder calendars via Outlook Web Access which is why this is a problem
for our conference rooms booking)

I've tried to replicate the problem unsuccessfully, when I try it all
the different ways we can send the appointment it works and shows up
in both outlook and OWA and thus here I am, anyone seen this? Know a
fix?

Hi there

You could check out if the Outlook client the appointment is created from is
running in Cached Exchange mode.  It could be that synchronisation isn't
taking place properly so the item is only there locally from the cache.  If
that's the case then you need to troubleshoot if the client is connected back
to the network properly and if there's corruption in the OST.

Hope this helps!
