Several recurring appointments have been created on Outlook 2003 by a user,
who subsequently owns the apts.  This user has since resigned and had his
account disabled.  Is there anyway of changing the meeting owner without
deleting the appointment and resending the update?

Not that I am aware of, no.

After furious head scratching, RonFromSydney asked:

Okay then.  So we delete recurring appointments, and re-create a new one.

Thank you for your assistance.
