My wife is running Vista Home Premium, on a brand-new Dell.  I installed
Office Professional Plus 2007, and used the Belkin Easy Transfer Cable for
Windows Vista to copy all of her files and settings over.

All of her appointments are an hour late.  She can move most appointments to
the correct time.  But any time she tries to move a recurring item, she gets
this message:

"Cannot open this item.  You changed one of the recurrences of this item,
and this instance no longer exists. Close any open items and try again."

It's her calendar.  Nobody else made any changes, and there are no other
instances open.  I've read of people having this problem in a corporate
environment, and the recommended solution was waiting a little while and
trying again.  But that doesn't help here.  Is there anything she can do to
be able to modify these appointments?

The hour problem is also strange.  Both her new and old Dells are set for
Pacific Time, and every time she'd send me an appointment, it would come into
my calendar at say 10, when it should have been 9.  Short of switching her to
the time zone West of San Francisco, is there any way to get all of her other
appointments to the right time?
