can you move task entries to calendar in 2003

in 2003 - I have entered about 150 taks that I thought would automatically
list themselves on a calendar. All taks have dates.

No. that's not possible.

What do you hope to achieve by doing that?  If you don't complete a Task on
the day you put it in the Calendar, it will be "left behind" when you view
the next day's Calendar.  That's not usually a good approach for a To Do
list.

Are you using the TaskPad and setting it to show relevant Tasks on each day?
