Wouldn’t it be very convenient to place a box for recording mileage on the
appointment notice? I use Outlook for many appointments and it would be nice
if I could record trip mileage for tax purposes. Then... a really nice
feature would be the ability to total those mileage figures for a given time
period (but I'll settle for calendar year).

Does Outlook 2003 currently have this ability or can a form be designed to
accommodate the above noted wish item…

You could do that by customizing the appointment form or by adding the Mileage property to any table view that has in-cell editing turned on.

Hi Sue,

What an intriguing idea. How would one go about customizing a form or turn
on in-cell editing to add a table view. I would like to do one or both of
these options but I have no idea where to start. Is there an instruction
guide somewhere I could refer to?
