outlook 2007 how do i sort a start date column by month not year

in outlook 2007 clendar, when i add a recurrence, how can i sort the start
date column by month rather then by year?  my cell format is 6/28/2007 but it
sorts by year not month

you need to add the recurring pattern field and sort on it - basic idea is
