Use rules to do this. Since you decided your version of Outlook was not important to include, I will leave it to you to use F1 help to figure it out for your version.

It wasn't an actual decision, rather an error on my part not to include the
version...so sorry, please excuse my ignorance! I have Office 2003. There
are no rules that apply to meeting message replies as far as I can tell. Any
other work arounds?

You can create a rule that specifies the incoming item "uses the 'form name' form" and continue from there.
