My work uses a Microsoft Exchange Server. My Outlook calendar at work has
confidential information about clients that has to stay in the office, but
emails are just about day to day business stuff. Is there a way for me to
configure Outlook on my home computer to receive my work emails WITHOUT
receiving my calendar too?

You can't not download it to Outlook but accessing your mailbox using OWA is
secure.
