Reoccurrence in 2007 Calendar

Does anyone else have this problem?

I schedule an appointment in the calendar and then assign it a category.
When I save & close, it automatically places a reoccurrence on it. I have to
go back in and take off the reoccurrence, save and close. Sometimes I have to
go through this 3 or 4 times before it finally takes. No problems when not
assigning a category though.

This is very frustrating as I live from my calendar! I check the updates
almost daily hoping there will some day be a patch but maybe it's just me.

Look in Add or Remove Programs for an app named
Outlookaddinsetup and remove it.

Thank you sooooo much.
I don't know what that add-in was, how it got there, or why. But it and my
problem are gone now.
Thanks again

Per Brian Tillman:

From what I've seen, it's a program left over from Dell's preconfigure of
the PC.
