I have a recurring appointment set up on my Outlook 2003 calendar to remind
me to go to lunch.  If I open just one occurence and add someone's name to
that occurence, will the person get an invitation to just that day, or to all
of them?  I ended up creating a separate meeting for that lunch, but I would
like to know for future reference.

When you open the appointment, it should ask if you want to open just that
occurrence or the series item.

I did open just that occurrence, but since I can still change the recurrence
for the whole series from a single occurrence, I wasn't sure which parameter
would apply.  I gather from your answer that the person would have been
invited for just that one occurrence.

Yes, that's correct.
