Reoccuring problem with reoccring events

Switched from Palm to Outlook 2007. I have many all day reoccuring events.
All these events were incorrectly imported as having a span of two days,
between 11pm of one day to 11pm of the next. I sent a whole weekend fixing
these events. Now, because of a sync problem, I had to restore all the
calender data. All the reoccuring all day events were properly dispalyed as
single, one day events, on the backup source. After I imported the cal data,
all the incorrect two day, all day events came back. I'm really getting
frustrated. Can anyone tell me why this is happening?

There is a mismatch in the DST setting between the two applications, most
likely.
