Reminder screen minimizes to nothing but not to whole screen

I cannot get the reminder screen to maximize which makes it impossible to
see all the items at one time. If I have 29 items, it only shows around six &
I have to scroll to see the rest. It minimizes perfectly but maximizes only
to a small dialog box.

the reminder dialog is not resizable - you'll need to scroll it.
