I have been trying to get a public calendar going at my school for
weeks. I THINK I am doing it by the book, but in the end, users can't
see what other users have put on this public calendar.

Here I will simply give you the steps I followed to create this public
calendar and the end result. If you see from my steps that I missed
something or did something wrong, please make me privy to that;

First, my setup:
Exchange 2003 running on Windows 2000 server. AD running on a Win 2000
server.
All users run XP Pro, 80% run Office 2003. I still have some running
Office 2000. But for this post we wil assume all are running Outlook
2003.

1)    I open my Outlook 2003 and go to my folder list. I expand "Public
Folders" and right click on "All Public Folders" and go to "New
Folder."
2)    I name it HSTESTCAL (I work for a High School and they like to have
a test calendar available for all teachers to see).
3)    "Folder Contains" = "Calendar Items"
4)    "Select Where To Place The Folder" and I chose "All Public Folders"
5)    I right-click this new public calendar and go to Properties and to
to the Permissions tab.
6)    I give my "All Employees" distribution list "Publishing Author"
permissions level and click OK.
7)    I can go into this calendar on my machine and add an item.
8)    I can log into my Exchange server and open my System manager and
see the calendar just fine. In fact, I can see the test item I added
in the "Content" field in system manager.
9)    Users then open their Outlook 2003, find the HSTESTCAL in the All
Public Folders folder, right click it, "Copy HSTESTCAL" to their
calendar so that they can view this public calendar next to their own.
10)    They can see the item I entered with no problems, but anything
they enter, while they can view it just fine on THEIR end on THEIR
computer in THEIR Outlook, no one else, including myself or the
exchange system manager can see these items they have added to the
public calendar.

So, surely I am doing something wrong...?
