I purchased a new dell with vista and outlook 2007 2 to 3 months ago.  From
the day i set up my outlook account i have not recieved on meeting request
that has worked.  If someone sends me a request, as soon as it is recieved by
my computer it is automatically placed into my calender on the day it was
recieved at some arbitrary time.  Any thoughts...thanks

A well know and often posted about issue with DELL computers as they have an
add-in that disrupts Outlook's appointments.

In the Add or Remove Programs on the Tools | Options area of Outlook, find
an application called "Outlookaddinsetup"
or "Cyberlink Outlookaddingsetup" and remove it.

I hope this helps you at least a little bit!
