I cannot save any items on calendar or tasks.  I get this message "Could not
save item. Not Implemented".

Can I un-install the Outlook portion of Office and re-install again?  How?

Reinstalling probably won't help.  What version of Outlook are you running?
Are you purely an Internet user (POP3 or IMAP mail account) or are you
connecting to Microsoft Exchange Server?  Did this just start happening?  If
so, did you install or change anything just before it started (including
Microsoft updates)?

The whole Office XP was installed when machine was new by my Brother in law.
I have never used the Outlook portion before, but now I have a need to.  I am
not using anu\y internent stuff.  I did noticed that when opening other
programs (not Office related) I would get a message asking for the disk.....
I did inserted yesterday, but that did not solve the problem.  I really think
that something was missed during installation, but what do I know.....

Thanks a lot for your reply.  I am not too tech-y, so I don't even know
where to go for help.

Thanks a lot!

Is your Windows user account an Administrator account or a limited account?
Perhaps it has something to do with your permissions, if your brother
installed Office as an administrator and you are not an administrator.
