Outlook suddenly no longer allows me to save appointments

After using Outlook forever, it now deletes my appointments as soon as I
enter them in my calendar.  I get a message that just says, "Could not save
item."  I know of nothing I've done to cause this to happen.  I sync my Treo
with Outlook, and my Treo continues to save appointments in the same way it
always has.  I have no problem saving new entries into Outlook's Contacts
file or anything else.  Has anyone experienced this?  Anyone have a solution?
Anyone know what I might've unintentionally done to cause the problem?

Many thanks for your help!

Charles

how many items are in the calendar folder? Have you rebooted since the
problem started?
