Cannot stop calendar from compressing weekends

I have setup calendar to 'not' compress weekends.  When I close Outlook and
then re-open it, the weekends are once again compressed.  How can I keep this
compression from happening?  It worked fine for several years; this just
started happening a couple weeks ago.

after you close outlook verify it is closed in task manager.
