Outlook 2003

Is there any way to make reminders, which now appear in a
separate window only, appear in a pane (like a reading
pane) and reside pemanently on a calendar view?

While I understand that the task pane can reside alongside
the calendar view, I tend to have more reminders (to-do
items) attached to e-mails which I'd like to be able to
view at all times (versus in a separate window only).

Thanks, Chuck in New Orleans

Nothing like that is supported out of the box.  It's conceivable to write an
add-in that would add a reminders pane, but I don't know of one already out.

I don't even think it's conceivable, since it's not possible to add new UI elements to the Explorer, not even a custom task pane yet.
