I stupidly clicked the "Add holidays" button in Outlook, and immediately
realized that I dislike the gray bar it added at the top of my calendar. I've
deleted each holiday individually, but I still have that annoying gray bar at
the top of every day now when I view the week. How can I get rid of the
vacation view? It's pretty ugly.

You mean the region where All-Day Events are shown?
You don't - it has many uses.

What version of Outlook is this and are you in Day, Week, Work Week, or Month
view?  Did you delete the holidays in Day/Week/Month view or in a table view?
